First time trying food from the Philippines. The man behind the counter was very kind and gave great suggestions. I tried the dish with squid and although I was a little nervous at first, the taste and texture were phenomenal! Very happy with my purchase and if I’m ever back in the area, I will be sure to come back.
This place is a blast to the past! A little mom and pop shop in the truest sense. The food was absolutely delicious! I came thru from VA where the Filipina food does not campare to what I am used to in CA. This was the best Filipino food I have had on the east coast. It’s in a little Filipino grocery store that has all sorts of snacks and groceries. The couple running are just the sweetest of people. I’ll definitely be back.
Prepared foods only on weekends. Grocery store during the week. Lots of Filipino options. Love the nuts, fruits, cookies and cakes.
